  • Lean Proteins: You can rely on some lean proteins during your old age and consume food products such as poultry, fish, eggs, legumes, and plant-based proteins. It will help you maintain your muscle mass and support your immune system. 
  • Consume Calcium and Vitamin D: You should consume calcium food products for your bone health, especially after the age of 50 years. It becomes essential to maintain your strong bones after this age. So, for this, you should consume food items such as dairy products, leafy greens, fortified food products, and fish. You can also rely on edible bones, which can provide you with adequate calcium and vitamin D.
